Aston Shaw has raised a grand total of £9,166.95 for EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices) in 2016 and we are now planning our next big fundraiser for 2017 in order fulfil our 3-year commitment to EACH’s Nook Appeal.
The funds were raised through a variety of charity events, from smaller fundraisers such as bake sales and dress down days to an extreme challenge event – the 24 Peaks in 24 Hours. The majority of the total sum was raised through the outstanding determination and effort of the 14 accountants who participated in the 24 Peaks in 24 Hours challenge. All of us at Aston Shaw feel that those who took part are worthy of recognition and commendation for enabling us to raise such an amount for EACH.
We have recently been informed by JustGiving that we are in the top 1% of fundraisers for 2016!
We are currently in the process of deciding on our charity plan for 2017 and have hopes to build on the success achieved in 2015 and 2016. We will still be supporting EACH and the main event will no doubt be just as challenging!
