Sometimes a situation can arise where the services of a forensic accountant are required. This page will help you to understand how Aston Shaw can be of help in those situations.
Our Forensic Accounting Service
If you find yourself in the midst of a litigation process, having a knowledgeable and experienced forensic accountant on your side can make all the difference. Our forensic accounting service is available to solicitors, barristers, insurers and private individuals.
Since we’ve been in practice, we’ve prepared hundreds of reports for a variety of cases including criminal, civil and marital. We’ve also given evidence at numerous trials across East Anglia, including some quite high-profile cases. One of the biggest cases we have assisted with in recent years involved a client who had been the subject of severe fraud – the client was scammed out of more than £1million. This case was subsequently taken to high court where we were able to recover 70% of the stolen funds, a result that both us and the client were pleased with.
The above is an example of an extremely complex case, but we had the expertise and the resources necessary to handle it. This is what we believe sets us apart from many of our competitors, we are equipped to deal with some of the largest cases imaginable but we are still able to provide a personal and friendly service, something that our clients tell us isn’t always retained elsewhere.
Our forensic accounting service draws on our specialist accounting and taxation knowledge. We offer a wide range of services to match a broad range of requirements. Our expertise in the field of accounting means that we are able to analyse, interpret, summarise and present complex financial and business related issues in a manner which is both understandable and properly supported.
So, no matter what situation you find yourself in, we’re confident that we can assist you while continuing to maintain a personal service.
