Mark returned to the UK in 2003 after spending 5 years in Australia, studying and working for the country’s largest insurance company on their demutualisation. On his return, Mark joined an accountancy practice in Norwich, where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2006.
In 2008 Mark launched his own accountancy practice, ‘Morgan Woods’, which enjoyed great success and expanded to 4 office locations across East Anglia. As of August 2014, Morgan Woods merged with Aston Shaw – with Mark continuing to take a very active directorship role, ensuring that client care, tax efficiency and compliance remain at the core of the service provided by the new firm.
From early on in Mark’s career, it was clear he had a firm grasp on financial matters affecting the legal sector. This specialist knowledge, combined with years of experience has established Mark as a specialist in all matters concerning Solicitors and Barristers. Few have such a complete knowledge of these sectors, and fewer still have such a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by Solicitors and Barristers today.
