In 2015, Norwich played host to the first ever ‘Run Norwich’, a 10km run through the fine city, passing many of its iconic landmarks. The event was hugely popular and year on year, it has only grown in popularity.
2017 is no exception. With spaces being snapped up faster than ever, anyone wanting to get involved should secure their place NOW by visiting the Run Norwich website. This year’s 10km run will take place on Sunday 6th August 2017.
This fantastic event has been made possible by Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF), along with support from key local organisations in Norfolk. Run Norwich has evolved into far more than a long-distance run, it is an impressive spectacle and a celebration of the city.

Run Norwich has something for everyone, runner or not. With music and entertainment at the start and along the route (including outside our office at The Union Building!), Run Norwich 2017 is shaping up to be one incredible day.
This is a 10km race that is open to anyone, from a complete novice to a seasoned marathon runner. We’re proud to be sponsoring the event for another year, as we feel it’s a great way to showcase the wonderful landmarks in Norwich, as well as provide an excellent opportunity to drive tourism into the city from around the UK.
